Breath of the Wild ‘s sequel , The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom , is probably the most anticipated game of 2023 on the Nintendo Switch. Breath of the Wild is one of the best Zelda games of all time, but, for many, it’s also one of the best video games of all time, just that. It might be difficult to do better, but the images revealed so far are quite promising. Only a few more months to wait!

Fire Emblem Engage — January 20, 2023
Fire Emblem continues to be one of Nintendo’s most popular and prolific franchises over and over again, in recent years at least.
If Fire Emblem Engage seems to offer a similar experience to previous games, one of the particularities of this title is the possibility of summoning heroes from previous titles, a bit like Fire Emblem Heroes . The duo system also returns, but in a new form.
Fire Emblem Engage will be released for Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon
Announced at The Game Awards 2022, much to our surprise — Bayonetta 3 was, after all, released not so long ago — Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon a highly stylized prequel to the Bayonetta game series that will let us know the origins of the heroine in a completely new graphic style and gameplay totally different from what we are used to.
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon will be released for Nintendo Switch on March 17, 2023.
Pikmin 4 — 2023
Pikmin 4 was already mentioned by Shigeru Miyamoto , the creator of the series, in 2015. 7 years later, the sequel to the game series featuring the adorable critters is (hopefully) ready! In addition, Pikmin 4 will offer a new gameplay perspective, closer to the size of small creatures.
Pikmin 4 will be released for Nintendo Switch in 2023.

Octopath Traveler 2 will take place in a new world and will introduce 8 new characters with 8 very different stories to tell.
